We attended a halloween, pumpking carving party with the Dave & Benjamin Burt.
At the home of the party, there were absolutely beautiful hand painted eggs from the woman hosting the party.
Get a hold of this toilet! You should see the urinal!!
Benjamin Burt was asked to keep the fire burning to keep us warm. This included yesterday' homework! Go Ben!
I had the fun of helping ClaraLynn get ready for her homecoming dance. She looked beautiful!! The following pictures are of downtown Stuttgart;Ben at the computer (and doing homework?); Debbie at the kitchen table; Ben, Dave, Cherie, Carla and Debbie watching ClaraLynn playing volleyball; ClaraLynn playing; and Cherie in front of the famous Mercedes Benz Museum (they do a lot of einfahrting in Deutschland, ha!)

We're sitting in the Internet Cafe at 4 eu an hr. Yikes! We've been spoiled up to now....no costs for internet. We've been doing our contacting....looks like Monday we're heading to Wiesbaden for some contacting. Today we'll take our time heading to Stuttgart. We've already visited a 1000 year old church on a tiny island by Lindau....misty.

Wednesday 19-17-07

We enjoyed our host Teresa so much at our fabulous pension in garmisch that we hated to leave. Today was our drive to Neuschwanstein. We took the back road by schloss Liderhoff! Oh, what a drive............a narrow road, mom you would of been pretty scared, one of those roads that really only one car at a time should be on. I'm kind of getting the hang of whizzing by cars inches close and not freaking out! I know you might get sick of hearing this but it was the most beautiful drive ever.........even prettier than the day before. Can it get any better? We couldn't help bursting out singing "The hills are alive..........OOooohhh" Up in the canyon we got to drive along one of the most beautiful mountain lakes.........clear.........that European green that I only see here, maybe one boat at the dock, nature not houses!

When we came out of the mountains, the world opened out to the beautiful valley. We're just past the prime color changes of fall but still colorful. Oh, neue schwanstein! Need I say more? Kids, you were on my mind the whole time. Memories were flooding back of all us of hicking up and back with the mixture of rain and mists! I remember you boys too proud to hold umbrellas, Shane always in search of a restroom! It's amazing how fast the walk was when you aren't getting wet! Both times held their own beauty. I miss you guys.........but we are having a fabulous time.

We've continued on to the Black Forest. I haven't really been there before. The ride to Lindau was of course incredible. How many times can you say this or that is sooo...beautiful? Lindau is on a very large lake. Which leads to..................
